Do I need a visa to go to Bodrum, Turkey?

Visitors entering Turkey must obtain a visa from the Turkish diplomatic mission unless they come from visa-exempt countries. Citizens of specific countries can apply for e-visa online. Also, visitors must hold a passport with a validity of at least 150 days. Some countries are exempted from passport validity requirements.

  • Nationals of Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland can enter with a passport expired for less than five years.
  • Nationals of Germany can enter with a passport or an ID card that expired for less than one year
  • Nationals of Bulgaria require a passport valid for their period of stay.
  • Nationals of Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Northern Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine can enter with an identity card
  • Nationals of Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Republic of Ireland, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom can enter Turkey without a visa, but they must carry their passport.
  • Nationals of Northern Cyprus can enter, reside, study, and work without any restrictions
